Public green space is so rare in the city that we need everyone's encouragement to keep this place open.

Let your toddler explore this natural environment till she’s ready for a nap!

Mmofra Place park, Dzorwulu.

Time outside to play and explore in a simple natural environment for 0 to 3 year olds and their caregivers.

Instead of pre-fabricated amusements, we offer trees, grass and a few handmade features and loose parts. In the main, your toddler will run, touch, feel, smell and play in nature. You’ll find it peaceful too.

Learn more on Mmofra Place here which is open to the public Monday to Saturday 10 am to 4pm for GHC 5.  Babies who are not independently walking are exempt. Please note that everyone who comes in other than babies pays this small fee, and that this is how we are able to open this space to the general public.

WHO WE ARE

Mmofra Foundation serves children in Ghana through cultural enrichment programs outside of school and mostly outdoors. We think green public child-friendly space matters in cities. In a few short years, and with minimal resources, our small Playtime in Africa team has established Mmofra Place as an innovative child-centered space for playful design in Ghana.
