Nubuke Foundation is proud to present Gideon Appah as our 2017 Young Ghanaian artist.

Nubuke Foundation proudly presents ‘In Pokua’s Place’, an exhibition of recent works by this award-winning young Ghanaian artist, curated by Bianca Ama Manu.

Gideon is the 4th Young Ghanaian Artist to be hosted by the Foundation.

(YGA) with a debut solo exhibition: In Pokua’s Place. Appah will be presenting a body of textured and vivid mixed media artworks that pay homage to his grandmother (Pokua). The exhibition is a nostalgic tribute in memory of her, with the works serving as a reminder of her place, space and legacy in his childhood and family.

We are pleased to invite you to the opening at our main gallery at 7:00pm on 9th of December 2017.

The exhibition however runs until 2nd March 2018.
Opening hours: 1000 to 1700 Tuesday to Saturday - noon to 1600 Sunday

Nubuke Foundation is in East Legon, close to the Mensvic Grand Hotel - a 5 minute drive from the Accra Mall ... easy to find! Just 2 quick turns off of Lagos Avenue before the Mensvic Hotel in East Legon. There are directional signs.
